• The Maryland STEM Program is an educational program that runs from June 18, 2018 to August 31, 2018 (eleven weeks) and focuses on Math, English Language Arts (ELA), and STEM. The structure of the program consistently parallels a traditional school setting.
  • We accept students entering grades 1 thru 9 for the 2018 - 2019 school year. The students are grouped in 3 groups of 10 students (per teacher) according to grade level and/or maturity level.
  • Parents will be able to choose the grade level they want the student to work on in Math, English Language Arts (ELA), and STEM for the summer.
  • Summer 2018 will be the 4th summer Maryland STEM Program will host our summer program.
  • Registration has started, and it will continue until the program is full. The program has a registration fee of $100. The registration fee covers the student's application fee, STEM T-shirt, and all materials for the educational component of the program. The registration fee reserves a student's place in the program. We only accept 30 students.
  • We offer three program payment options. We do not offer sibling discounts nor scholarships.
  • We offer field trips every Wednesday for an additional fee, except Wednesday, July 4, 2018. Our program will be closed on July 4, 2018. If a student does not attend a field trip, they may not attend the program on the corresponding Wednesday.
  • The program does not provide lunch. The students will have access to a microwave and Uber Eats (at the parent's cost).
  • The program hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Students may arrive any time unless they are attending a field trip. Parents will be charged a fee of $1 per minute for late pickup.
  • The program accepts all students regardless of ability levels. However, students must have the ability to work in group settings and quietly and individually. Students whose conduct disrupts the learning environment or interferes with safety will be dismissed from the program without a refund. If a student is dismissed from the program, they are still obligated to fulfill their financial contract.
  • The summer program will be held at 6314 Windsor Mill Road, Suite 110, Baltimore, MD 21207.
  • The program facility is air conditioned. We advise parents to leave a sweater at the program for the duration of the program. All students must be able to participate in outdoor activities. Students will not be allowed to remain at the facility during outdoor play.
  • Students will have access to Wi-Fi and they are encouraged to bring their own devices. Maryland STEM Program is not responsible for any devices owned by students brought to the program.
